The AHPM is an independent organisation that is not associated with any schools or profit-oriented commercial organisations and institutions. We invite all hypnotherapists to join us regardless of their training levels, educational levels and experience. Once registered with the AHPM, members are encouraged to gain the qualifications and skills needed to become an AHPM Practising Member (PM). A practising member of the AHPM must be a member of good standing with AHPM and would have fulfilled the requirements and standards set by AHPM.
Reporting Body
The AHPM is a member of the Federation of Complementary and Natural Medical Association, Malaysia (FCNMAM) and adheres to the Ministry of Health and the T&CM Council's directives and guidelines. The AHPM is self-regulated by hypnotherapists for the benefit of hypnotherapy and hypnotherapists in Malaysia.
How-to be an AHPM member?
We have different membership categories. Fees for student and non-voting members starts from as low as RM50 p/year. For more information please email hypnomalaysia@gmail.com for further information.
Professional Development
- Supervision. The AHPM provides private, group and peer supervision.
- Newsletter. HypNews contains articles written by our members.
- Training. Our experienced trainers provided training, courses and workshops.
Aims and Objectives
The AHPM’s aims and objectives had remained unchanged throughout its history and these goals are embedded in our constitution. AHPM had always aimed to develop highly ethical and qualified hypnotherapists, hypnotherapy researchers, lecturers and trainers. AHPM is also recognised by other hypnotherapy professional bodies globally.
